The fatal price of not wearing a seatbelt.

Earlier this month, I came across a tragic incident that I wanted to share here but didn't, a woman working as a Sub Inspector (SI) in my dad’s commissionerate was driving her Kwid when she collided with a bike, and sadly, both she and the biker lost their lives on the spot. According to the charge sheet, she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Around 60 km/h, her car hit the bike and then crashed into a tree. Due to not being restrained, she hit the dashboard, sustaining severe injuries that led to blood loss and, ultimately, her death before any help could arrive. Fast forward today I saw an orbituary of her on WhatsApp by the sales guy who sold us our new Taigun last year. Apparently she was his wife. Dad even gifted him a watch and I remember him mentioning that his wife was also a cop, Imagine my shock when I saw his WhatsApp status today. Anyways, always wear your seatbelt guys and your helmets if you're on a two wheeler.
