Has anyone here stage tuned their diesel car for the sole purpose of DPF Deletion?

Hi guys, I am a member of a Toyota Innova Crysta owners group( I don’t own one but its a story) and currently the guys in my group are discussing about getting rid of DPF by stage tuning their cars. One guy from the group took the lead and went ahead to tune his car somehow somewhere in Bangalore and deleted his DPF. He says it costed around 100k rupees everything included and now the car runs like a horse instead of an elephant. The other owners are contemplating but there’s not enough information available about this on the internet and Youtube. If someone has gone ahead with stage 1 tuning and got their DPF deleted, please share your experience and feedback and answer some of my and the general public’s questions real quick- - Can stage tuning be done in Indian diesel cars like Scorpio N and XUV700? -What happens to the DPF if we delete EGR & DPF? -Would there be difficulty in obtaining pollution certificates? - would the car start producing more pollution(like black smoke from the rear exhaust?) -what are disadvantages of this? -legality? - apart from dpf and performance, any other benefits? -whats the cost? -and what is the scenario in terms of brand warranty and car insurance?
