Buying a scorpio classic s11 in 2025

Hello everyone this is my first post here, my father has planned to get a new tough suv for heavy usage, feel good features are not a requirement, only the utilitarian aspects of the vehicle are the main consideration, after some online research we settled on scorpio classic, now I know it's a featureless product in 2025 but we already have other cars like XUV for those set of wants and this one will mainly used to access tough rural native places, we used to have s10 2016 model and my father really liked the feel of that car and so decided on the classic version as it has an improved suspension, gearing and better NVH, also I am aware that scorpio N is definitely a better product but in our case small recurring factors make it impractical for us, so would like to know how scorpio classic performs with bs6 engine with dpf and if it is still as reliable because I have seen a lot of video online regarding the dpf regen issue in it. Any useful insight would be appreciated, thank you
