Why indian roads sucks so much

Legally i have been driving for over 15 years now and lately the quality of roads is degrading and by this i mean its durability and finishing. I know there is lot of corruption in the system irrespective of the party in power but have you figured out any solution to this problem. I want to know like how you are holding back your frustration and maintaining suspension at the same time. Also do let me know if your city has good roads. FYI living in a so called smart city with no smart features
