Why ignis isn't popular in india?

Here's some compilation of video i watch and ignis is so much common in japan , australia, greece, singapore, russia but in india it's one of the least selling cars and people say it's for looks . But in abroad it's because of the looks and funky nature of this car that it sells . In that regard is this possible indian people aren't ready for quirky designs? Same comment for verna, syros etc . As we have ignis i can really appreciate design . In my opinion indians are just orthodox or too mainstream. It's the same reason hyundai isn't going to lauch the Casper in india .
