Should we buy a car?

My family's combined income is 1.2 lakhs pm. I'm 20, a college student and don't earn yet, it will take me 3-4 years more to get a full time job. My father wants to buy a car, mainly for me. I will be driving the car mostly. We do have 40k pm EMIs right now, but all those will be paid within the next 6-7 months. After that, which car should I let my father buy for me?
