Is Honda City Hybrid a good buy for 20 Lakhs OTR?
I am looking out for a new family car. Basically a sedan or a CSUV bodytype. I reasearched a little bit and found out that Honda City Hybrid is selling for 20 OTR in the state I am planning to purchase, the usual price of this car is around 23-24 Lakhs OTR. This cars is such a beauty. While researching, I found out that it's hybrid system, ADAS, engine works smoothly. The Honda is pretty reliable as well. But I have some doubts: I found out in reviews that: 1. Interior and Infotainment is outdated. 2. No 360° Camera. Camera quality is really poor 3. NVH issues 4. Tyres are skinny, and they burst easily due to their low profiles. 5. No Adjustable headrest at the backseat, whiplash injury hazard. 6. No Radar based ADAS. I am interested in auto brake feature, that can work at night and fog. City Hybrid owners, Any comments? 7. No front parking sensors. The sensors are part of accessories that are not intergrated with rest of the car, there is one switch to turn it on or off, same is with TPMS, ventilated seat cover option. These accessories looks like after thought and do not integrated nicely with car and it's Infotainment. 8. The design was introduced in 2020, it's almost 5 years old now and Honda won't be changing it until 2028. 9. Back scrapping when loaded with luggage and all passengers. 10. I don't know whether ground clearance is ample or not but everyone on the internet seems saying that ground clearance is an issue. Owners/experienced people, please comment on it. Is it okay for somewhat rural roads, and with average speed breakers and everyday potholes? 11. What about ingress, outgress for senior citizens? Is it really worth to spend this much money on this car? Other options like Verna, Creta, 3XO, Virtus/Slavia, Grand Vitara, XUV 700 etc looks like much better options at first glance. The cars looks incomplete when compared with competition, but it looks much better to me as compared to virtus (that's my opinion). Is it worth the price considering I will buy it in next 6 months vs buying now? What are my other options?5
