Dad’s 7th car after moving back to India. Jeep Compass 4x4 S.

My father and I have bonded a lot over cars. He knows that i love cars, he always discussed his next car with me. We always watch car reviews together. We lived overseas for 10 years and after coming back to India, I wanted my dad to buy an Audi for himself since he had two Audis for 7 years. Audi A5 for 4 years and then an A4 for 3 years. However he refused. He told me that he thought about getting an Audi but it will cause a lot of jealousy in the family. My dad is the hardest working man I know. Most of my other family members are high school / college dropouts who are now bitter about their lives and get jealous over everything. As sad as I was for my dad not being able to buy a car he really wanted. This car has grown on us a lot. Even this car causes jealousy among the extended family. My father has to tell everyone that the company gave him the car to avoid drama. He plans to drive this car till 2027.
