29F wanting to buy family's first car. I'm the only driver (that too a beginner) in the family. Confused b/w Dzire, Amaze, and Magnite.
Hi all. I want to buy my family's first car and I've been very confused about it. I do not want to end up with a purchase that I'd regret. My budget: Max 13 L. Transmission: Automatic. Type: Preferably sedans, though could also consider SUVs. Priorities: Safety, ease of driving for a beginner, hassle-free ownership, reliability. Cars I've looked into so far: the new Dzire, the new Amaze, the new Magnite (Tekna, though it's a little above 13L). Between the Dzire and Amaze, I am inclined towards the former because of its 360 degree cam (I'd be driving this in Bangalore, so I am guessing this would come in handy; also plan to take it to highways once I gain enough experience) and Suzuki's service network and hassle-free ownership. I'd have gone with Amaze if Dzire hadn't scored 5 stars for safety. But then again, frm what I've read online, Honda's 4-cyclinder engine's reliability and CVT are also great. Would I feel much of a difference if I go for the Dzire AMT since I am a beginner? Also looking at Magnite, which has CVT as well as a 360 cam and has scored well for safety. And of course, obviously, it has more ground clearance than the other two cars. But would Nissan be able to give me a hassle-free owner experience considering how it seems to be doing not so great in India (please correct me if I am wrong)? As a new owner, I'd like to reduce as many car-related hassles as possible. Thank you so much for all your help in advance. This'd be the first car in the family, and I hope y'all can help take a wise decision. Thank you.1
