Thoughts about a line from Dil Dhadkane Do (2015)

In "Dil Dhadkane Do" movie there was a monologue of Ranveer Singh "Why is that when someone is with you, you forget to say so many things to them and why is it when someone goes far away you remember all the things which you should have said. Why does the right thing only come to them when it's too late?" It was 2015 and I was in my third year when I watched the movie back then, I couldn’t grasp the depth of those words.But nearly a decade later, eight years after leaving campus,Standing in the thirties of life, after witnessing the comings and goings of countless people, I now understand the profound truth they held. Our lives are like a flowing river. From shore to shore, people come into our lives in different ways. Some will make us laugh, others will make us cry. Some will betray us, while others will lead us to victory. Some will remain as sweet memories, While others will fade away from our hearts. But in the moment they are with us, We must give them the time they deserve, So that no regrets linger when they are gone.
