Malayalam movie Sookshmadarshini Spoilers: Did anyone explore the monetary angle?

Sookshmadarshini Spoilers I think in the climax of the movie we also have to see the monetary angle. I think Manuel as well as his mother didn’t want their property to be shared as well with Diana. There was some reason why that point was highlighted in the movie. The family tradition and everything was a cause but Diana wanting her share I believe in the property was the trigger why she was killed and the mother was just covering it to sound all noble in her intentions or else the moment they would have played it from the monetary angle, the people would have started asking their share as well. What’s your thought?
