The thief was not able to run away and at the same time the train started moving, but the passengers did not leave the thief's hand and the thief was hanging from the train in the same condition. The thief got very scared, because at any time he could fall from the train and die, so he requested the passengers to please hold his other hand also. People helped the thief so much and held the thief's other hand from inside as well. In this way the thief kept hanging from the train for ten minutes and after the train stopped at the next station, the passengers left both the hands of the thief and the thief ran away. The thief got the punishment he deserved by hanging from the train while being between life and death for ten minutes.
