Identity racism and bihar

I was inspired to create this post after seeing another one about rampant racism that us bihari's face. Though i will delete this post soon enough. I am pretty sure that all of us who have interated with people outside of bihar have faced some form of discrimination. Phases like " chal bihari" "ek bihari 100 bimari" , that expression of disgust on their faces when they use my identity? as a form of verbal abuse has become a norm here in Society. This rampant ever growing racism has filled their mind that bihar aur bihari sunte hi gheen wali bhawna ati hai. Ki hum bs khet mai kaam krne tak simit hai? Khoon nhi khaulta kya jab humari pehchan aur humari matra bhoomi ka naam gali k taur pe liya jata hai? Bachpan mai toh kisi ko batane mai bhi darr lgta that i am from bihar. I live in delhi and as a student i have seen landowners not renting accommodation to bihari students. And we are partially responsible for our misery. We can blame bihari music media and politicians for ruining our image but we don't stand up for ourselves in first place. It's high time we show support for each other. I understand that alot of us are not from good financial background and want to focus on our basic needs at first but if u still act selfish this will never end. It's high time we show some unity and stand up for each other in time of distress. Be violent if NEEDED. Have some pride w ur identity. Take it seriously and I'm telling u this in it's literal sense, FIGHT for ur identity ,against this ever growing discrimination. Jai bihar.
