BRICK factory literally in front of my house

I went to my village after around 3 years and man there was literally a brick chimney in front of my house where there used to fields the pollution was too much when I was inside my room I can constantly smell smoke which is definitely not good for the health but no one was complaining in my village and when I told this to my parents,they said "ki tum he sirf idhar rehta hai, dusron ko toh problem nahi ho rha" I mean unka problem ho rha hoga par woh kuch keh nahi rhe , I am pretty sure they made that factory over agricultural land and when I said this to my cousin they said agar tuhaare pass usse zyada power hai toh band karwa do. I mean why can't a village come together against these things?
