Digvijay deserved a chance. BB could have been little kind to him but alas
I honestly feel so bad for Digvijay after watching his journey. I’ve been following him since Roadies and Splitsvilla, and even on social media. From what I’ve observed, he’s someone who really values relationships but is so scared of forming them. When he entered Bigg Boss, I had such high hopes for him. But the way the show has treated him has been cruel, and to make it worse, the other contestants have been bullying him. It reminds me a bit of what happened with UK Rider—not that Digvijay is anything like him (he’s way better)—but the way people are treating him feels similar, and it’s just so unfair. Digvijay keeps saying he wants to “play the game,” but isn’t that why everyone is there? The only difference is he says it out loud, while others just don’t. Maybe he should’ve stopped saying it, though, because in reality, he’s gotten emotionally attached to Karanveer. That’s why he’s hurt. If he wasn’t attached, he wouldn’t care so much. Spending 24 hours a day together makes it impossible not to form bonds, but it feels like the others aren’t as attached to him because they have their own groups and stronger connections. I hate to say this, but Karanveer has been selfish and a bit odd at times—not just with Digvijay, but with others too. He doesn’t seem like the kind of person who’d fully stand up for his friends. Digvijay didn’t expect Chum to play for him because he knew Chum would side with Karanveer. But the real issue isn’t that no one played for him—it’s that no one even thought about him. No one discussed him, strategized for him, or even acknowledged him. That’s what hurt him the most. It’s like he wasn’t even there, and that’s heartbreaking. In the last task, he completely lost himself. He looked so confused and defeated, and I think it’s because he didn’t know what to do anymore. If he had been closer to Rajat, maybe things would’ve been different. Rajat might’ve prioritized him. But they weren’t really friends—they just spoke a few times. And let’s be honest, Digvijay probably didn’t want to be associated with someone with such a controversial image. If he was purely focused on gameplay, he might’ve teamed up with Rajat, who was popular outside the house. But that’s not who Digvijay is—he’s not just a player. Karanveer, on the other hand, had his group and allies, leaving Digvijay in a tough spot. I don’t think Digvijay was upset about people not playing for him—he was upset that no one even considered him. No one cared enough to think, “Hey, what about Digvijay?” That’s what broke him. Digvijay says he plays with his head, but that’s not true—he’s incredibly sensitive and gets attached easily. He just doesn’t want to show it, so he hides behind this tough, logical persona. That’s why people misjudge him. If he was just a gamer, he would’ve played the task without getting emotional. Just like Rajat who keeps on making and changing his samikarans. ( I’m not saying that’s bad) But he’s not; he’s someone who feels deeply, and that’s why he lost his focus. I honestly feel like this season wasn’t meant for Digvijay. The top 5 seem pre-decided based on their relationships and contributions, and sadly, I think Digvijay will be evicted before that—not because of his gameplay, but because of the way the show’s script is written. And if that happens, I’m genuinely worried about how he’ll handle it. It could be a massive emotional setback for him. I just hope he has the strength to get through it when he comes out.2
