She has been defending him ever since Kashish defended herself and Salman a couldn't care less about her. She feels like she has the right to moral police Kashish over Salman because she WAS part of the film industry. But, she was literally a B Grade actress whose career fizzled out after a couple years. I didn't even know who she was before the show. Shilpa thinks she's Salman's Shera. Upholding his respect like she's his bodyguard.
