Can we coin the term 'man card' and make it relevant
BB, Salmon and so many male contestants have used this card but since there no term, there's no one word impactful counter like the 'woman card' that everyone is so conscious of. Women are very quickly called out for using or even thinking of using that card while men get a free pass, actually a free victim narrative of being the poor man. For eg. Avinash alone have used the man card or what I like to call the 'women-card'-card multiple times. Whether it was the chum incident. Everyone has eyes and are watching the show. No one said women aren't sexually safe around him, but physically? If I'm charged by a buffed dude double my size I don't think I will feel safe. He got a clear chit. Major advantages, ration control and sympathy and support actually. Vivian was appreciated for supporting the Targeted. He has played the 'women-card' card time and again. In the initial weeks when he was picking fights with everyone to create his 'villian to hero who gets credited for bare minimum decency because of his transition from a very toxic past', he accused someone of playing the woman card because someone said in defence of Shilpa i believe, ki how can you be mean to 'wo aurat jo sab liye khana banati hai'. Aurat ko aurat bolna woman card hai? When the sara thing happened with him, he was like, 'if the roles were reversed', as if the entire house didn't try to stop her. Entire house hoped in his defence even when they weren't at great terms. And further on a 'reversed role' incident, when he was charging at Chum, he was given the jail power, ration control, salman support, sympathy and what not because he was falsely accused of not making women around him feel safe? When Sara lost her marbles, Eisha and Alice said the same thing that 'i don't feel safe around her'. Is that CA as well, or is that what I call the 'women-card'-card? Because dare a woman feel physically threatened around just an overly aggressive dude double her size, but yeah 2 people who the entire house is hoping in to protect against a wayy older Sara can definitely feel unsafe. The only difference I see is gender in both the situations, except as Avinash said, 'when the roles were reversed' the man was defended by Salman Khan, given Ration control and what not. He even tried playing the same 'if the roles were reversed' card when Kashish first confronted him about why she didn't like him and she told him to not use that card. Chahat was accused of playing the woman card during the tea bag collection task where everyone targetted her. A card where she claims to be a victim. Idk if it's a victim card when the person is actually a victim cause from where I could see, she was a victim. Now again KV is playing the man card for Avinash. Kashish only refused to take the entire accountability for being the only flirtatious one. She didn't say that tha nature of flirting was any ugly. She constantly said it was two sided, took full responsibility of her involvement, never said it crosses any line, always said it was friendly and healthy. But KV knew better than to not play the BB's, maker's and Savlon's ever favourite 'man card'. Adaalat lagi h iske liye, torture kiya h iske liye. Hadd hai yaar. Kashish roi nahi na shilpa Shrutika jaise nahi toh victim card bhi bol dete. But just because there's not a term for that, they aren't called out for playing it.3
