Tired of comparisons

I’m a 31 years old, working in tech with a decent pay and don’t own any property. My parents and relatives keep comparing me to my cousin(now 46) who had bought his first house by 27 years of age. What they fail to understand is that he had bought it 20 years ago for a very cheap price and now the property prices have appreciated like anything where as the salaries haven’t increased at the same freaking rate. I’m so sick and tired of this comparison. How do I make them understand?
