Undo a blunder at a recent interview. Can I save face?
Hey everyone. I want to turn around a recent blunder. I got laid off recently, and started looking for jobs. 8+ YOE in SaaS, started with writing and I now mentor teams and strategize. I had an interview with the CMO of a coworking space startup and the previous week I was sleep deprived due to family trouble, and other injuries. I already didn't have experience in real estate so I couldn't answer the problem statements she presented on the go, but what's worse is, because of my fatigue, I couldn't represent my leadership or existing marketing skills properly. I'm wondering how can I turn this around. I want to send her a cold email, explaining how my experience with lean teams and thin budgets will translate into prudent budgeting and ROI, and also send her a strategy document or research. What should I include in that, and, should I do something more? I'm just worried it'll come off as presumptuous. Thoughts?3
