Started going to Cult.fit and now I’m a happy little human
I was living in a small village and going to a random fitness center there. I never got too excited because I am an introvert and spoke to very few people. Moved to Bangalore and joined Cult fit. The main motive was to make friends. Even after taking membership, I was too nervous to go because I generally act weird in a group setting. Finally, I took the courage to go one day and was stunned. In my previous gym, my personal trainer and I were good friends, and we used to take 5-20 minute gossip breaks between sets. Lol. So I never felt any gain nor any pain. I ate loads of protein, still nothing. I went to Cult continuously for two days, and oh boy, I felt like my body had become a fat-burning machine(HRX workout). I started experiencing pain in areas of my body I didn’t know existed (it felt unbelievably good). My main motive behind joining Cult was to make new friends with shared interests. I failed miserably at that. Made awkward eye contact with some people; they must have thought I was some kind of creep. But I won at workouts. I’m giving all I can, and it’s “working out” for me. Our session was handled by one Mr.Amit Singh, who is the most positive person I have ever met. He has an aura that makes me come back every single day. I had my doubts about group workout sessions. But this was a wholesome experience. I am going through so much in life, and these 50-minute sessions are what keep me going every day. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to afford the luxury of working out and eating clean every day. My advice to fellow Redditors: if your company offers you a Cult pass or if you can afford a pass, please give it a try. You will never regret it. I read the whole thing and it sounds like a PR post. Lol. But, it’s not. I wish I got paid for writing this though.2
