Scams in Malleswaram

Has anyone else noticed an increase in strangers knocking on doors recently? For example, one person came by claiming we should close our windows because of honey bees, saying they were trying to remove nests. However, we’re certain there were no nests anywhere nearby. Today, a woman came to the building trying to sell socks and wouldn’t leave even after being told to go. Is this happening to anyone else?
