Need advice to buy binoculars

My partner is into wildlife safaris and bird watching. I have a budget below 5 k and want to surprise him. I don’t know much about binoculars and just know something about 10x42 magnifying range. Any suggestions? Which brand and where I can buy this in Bangalore?
