Is it just me or have most people gone quiet after New Year's

I swear to god, i dont understand whats happening, my biker group gc is dead, the college network gc is dead, my school friend group is dead, the art server is dead, THE STREETS ARE QUIETER, EVEN THE NEIGHBORHOOD is quieter, and it seems like, everyone has just gone silent. Even yesterday, for the NYE parties, it seemed pretty mellow, i'm not sure if that was the case everywhere but atleast in North it seemed like it. compared to 2024 nye celebrations, 2025 celebrations seemed a little less vibrant, there were lesser skyshots and all those party noises you hear in the distance, even my neighbors didn't seem to be doing much. am i just feeling this way, or is this actually happening?
