"Expats" and their associated nonsense
Janarey, how are you? Seeing how all the Visa cleanups is happening in US (rightfully so) - I wonder what the scene is for the shweta Mlecchas (Whites) in namma Bengaluru. Have you seen them participate in the local festivals and have you seen them integrate into the local culture? For example, there is a wonderful Rathotsava very near my place and happens every year on Ratha Saptami. Not one white to be seen in this event even though a lot of them stay near by. Heck, I saw a lot of local Muslims actively participating and enjoying the scene. The usual excuse is "Oh its not clean enough for my pristine tail feathers that I dont wash with water but wipe with paper"! So what explains their absence in the local Carnatic concerts in the air conditioned halls? what explains their absence for many of our cultural events? I havent seen one of these in the local theatre group! What do they have additionally? Two horns? do these opportunists take efforts to integrate or is it a one way traffic when our folks emigrate there. Oh BTW, our people are always "immigrants" but their ones here in Bharath are always "Expats". has this nonsense gone too far enough? Time to let these Mlecchas know that to live and earn in Bharath they have to integrate and be grateful for the opportunities on offer here. The Future is India and China! The 15 seconds of fame for these assorted European tribes is nearing completion and the cycles of ups and downs in history will put them back to their rightful places! EDIT : To the Gungadins and Uncle Toms rushing to defend the Swetha Mlecchas - I am not equating illegal Indians to the "expats". Its the hypocrisy of these lots to not integrate into local culture and then cry hoarse back home that "immigrants" dont integrate into their cultures!3
