Are my favourite lost joints still to be found somewhere?

I have been visiting Bangalore for years, for work and to meet friends and family. In a recent visit, I went back to Church street, a place I haven’t been to in years, except to eat at the other end at Paragon. I remembered 2 spaces distinctly and went there - a magazine store in the basement on the junction of church street and Brigade Road, with many Persian cats. A store called Hysteria (or hysteresis, the engineer in me is confused) where I got the bestest rock memorabilia and merchandise. Still have a cloth Doors poster from the store. These are part of my memories of visiting the city between 2009-2014. I was prepared to be pleasantly surprised to see those businesses standing if at all, as Covid has largely wiped out joyful but low turnover ventures like this. The community doesn’t allow me to post images, but the magazine store is replaced by a generic emporium and the music merchandise store is part of a likely run disputed building with all shutters down. Does anyone know what happened to these stores, or if the owners found better opportunities?
