Any idea about Jatinga Bird Phenomenon?

I recently came across the story of Jatinga. It's said every year between September and November, birds (including migratory ones) seem to fly toward lights at night and end up crashing and dying. People named it the "bird suicide" phenomenon, and it’s apparently been happening for decades. I read that scientists think it might be due to disorientation caused by weather or altitude, but no one’s really sure why it happens. Does anyone here know more about this? Maybe someone who’s visited Jatinga or studied it? Also, is there a possibility that it has a paranormal angle? Just curious if anyone has considered that side of it.
