Why cowards always come in packs ?

I was taking a walk today,a bunch of 5-10 losers was calling me,heyy heyy in a rude manner i stopped a second stared at them,all of them went silent and the second i walked past them they started that but instead were calling names i couldn’t hear it.What am i supposed to do if i face a situation like this ?
