    She Took Me for Granted How to let go or cope

    I (M, mid-20s) was in a relationship with my ex for a while, and things were great at first. But after we broke up, I made the classic mistake of chasing, begging, and hoping things would go back to normal. She strung me along as a friend , I knew I was just a backup option. She is anxious avoidant and turned my secure attachment to anxious. Breakup (Oct 2024): She ended things, but I kept texting her, thinking I could fix it. Kept chasing (Nov 2024 - Jan 2025): She pulled away, ignored me, prioritized others, but I still kept giving her my time and energy. Ghosting & Avoidance (Feb 2025): She stopped replying altogether. When she finally did, she blamed my behaviour and didn’t acknowledge how she treated me. Legal Threats Over Money (Feb 2025): After all I did for her time, money, everything i paid for her, she had the to bring up legal action saying i harassed her by begging her with so many texts and calls. After everything my mental health suffered so i became desperate. I realized she never respected me because I never respected myself. She was indifferent because she knew I was always available. I wasted months trying to fix things with someone who didn’t respect me. Nowhere , I’m done chasing. She can realize her loss on her own – or not. Either way, I win. What do you guys think? Has anyone else been through this? How did No Contact work for you? How to pull from this ? Note : Despite knowing everything i suffered due to emotional attachment.
