Personal experience with Influencers?

I have an anti tarnish jewellery brand and to increase my brand visibility, I have been wanting to collaborate with influencers to whom I could send these products and who can post about my products on their pages. But, I have heard so many cases of bad experiences with influencers that they take the products and don’t post etc. etc. and upon following they block you. Those who work in Fashion media or otherwise, do you know anyone or have you yourself collaborated with influencers and have had a great experience? Please let me know. PS: No nano or micro influencers please.
