OCI married to a Pakistani

Hi all. I am an Indian national and am married to a Pakistani. We reside in Botswana and I recently got my citizenship. I am trying to apply for my OCI online but as soon as I put my spouses place of origin as Pakistan, the application refuses to go further. Is this supposed to be happening? I have asked the embassy to respond to this issue but they are taking forever to respond. Also, please note I am applying for MY OCI, not my wife’s as I am aware she cannot get one.
