Is it weird to still sleep with our parents if I'm 19?

At this point, I want to sleep alone in my room. I have got a comfy bed here and I want to sleep here cuz that can make me a bit responsible, to be organised. But the problem is my mom is so adamant and refusing this request. My dad says I can do that after a few months, but my mom is nuh uh. If I ask her why, she gives me irrational reasons like "are you gonna get a wife by being alone?". For the record, my mom has been over protective of me and basically, she tells me that she can't sleep peacefully if I'm not in the same room, if that makes sense. I have said this to my friends and they question my age lol. "Are you even 19?". So my question is, is it okay to sleep with parents even when I'm 19? And do you guys around my age, sleep alone?
