What to gift between Nintendo switch and Seiko watch?

My bf's birthday is coming up, and I am planning to gift him something. I have narrowed it down to either a switch or Seiko automatic watch. What would be better? He has told me that he used to play Nintendo when he was young, but also he has been looking to buy a good watch for a long time, so I am confused. PS.: he will be getting his bonus around mid of this year so I am planning to gift him one thing so he could buy the other.
