Sad state of affairs in our country

Hopelessly pessimistic at the moment about the trajectory our nation is heading towards. We are a services based economy, that’s extremely fickle minded. In economically deprived times, it’s the services that most people first cut off or consume less than usual, That has a potential to make our services exports suffer. You only have to look into the dehaat people destroying Railway infrastructure in our country. Already poor country and stupid people destroying that as well. Idiots of the highest order. We are also taxed extremely high. Our GST rates are European level with Sub Saharan infrastructure. Pockets of influence / gated affluence and all round mediocrity/ poverty. The entire North of India suffers smog / hazardous pollution because a few entitled idiots burn their farm stubble while rest of us choke! Our East (from Bihar to West Bengal to North Eastern states) barely has industries and only exports people to other states for doing low end jobs. How disrespectful it is to these people that they have to leave their homes and families to a place thousands of kilometres away due to the sheer incompetence of their local governments. These folks are also to blame for the same state governments keep getting elected. No politician is saying I’ll bring industries or create services based employment. Every election cycle manifesto is only about freebies and guarantees. We need guaranteed pensions but our government babu-dom apathy to work is well documented. Any company wants to expand or make in India, first they have to make the local politicians rich even before they produce a product or provide service. Archaic laws, lap dog media and rising intolerance amongst the masses makes me wonder if we are done and dusted as a nation! Our states are increasingly being tied to a higher debt to state GDP ratio, leaving next to nothing for infrastructure/ development projects. Extremely pessimistic about the state of our country. Please share some positivity if you have info in the comments. I need some. Sorry for my rant.
