Racism against India by white people is often normalized on almost every social media platform. However, if they experience even a little bit of racism from Indians, or find culture weird (on social media or face to face experiences), they quickly start complaining. What’s your take on this?
They often receive support not only from other Indians but also from people abroad. Some argue that the mistreatment by Indians is the reason for this behavior, but the reality is that racism against Indians has been happening for a much longer time. International news channels frequently portray India negatively. That being said, I’m not claiming that India is necessarily more developed or better than other countries, but the consistent negative portrayal often ignores the full context of India’s progress and challenges. Furthermore, this selective representation fuels stereotypes and a biased narrative about India, which then perpetuates racism and discrimination. DUE TO THESE REASONS, I AM HESITATING TO VISIT FOREIGN COUNTRIES (mostly in europe and america) FOR VACATIONS At the same time, it’s important to recognize that racism and mistreatment exist everywhere, and both sides should make an effort to understand each other’s perspectives instead of perpetuating these cycles of hatred and resentment. Mutual respect and dialogue can help break down these barriers, but it requires genuine effort from both parties4
