People in relationships, what external factors do you think are too big to overcome in a relationship?

Can love really conquer all? In my current relationship, I feel like it's destined to end and it feels terrible. Career, cultural backgrounds, parents, distance, time, everything in between is against us at this moment. The only thing that is perfect is us. Is this enough? What would you do if there is too much to fight against? Give up? Or fight as long as it takes? Even your whole life?
