Is tier 2-3 India better than tier 1 india?
I grew up in Delhi ncr in a good neighbourhood in a good locality. The convenience of living in tier 1 city is a blessing but I am currently in shamli, UP and man i am enjoying my time here. I don't see why I can't live in a place like this away from all the noise. Another thing, my host is quite an influential rich man in this area, and he has been very kind. The place I am at is not a village area, it has enough urban infrastructure but it's not exactly populous and big like a city. The environment is very nice, though the people might be a problem but they better than karen uncle/aunties. It's a Muslim dominated area so the food is amazingly good, there are many restaurants with a lot of options. Meat is also affordable because of proximity to slaughterhouses and meat processing units ( idk UP had so many slaughterhouses esp in paschim UP) , fruits are surprisingly inexpensive and the quality is also good. After 18, I was witnessing symptoms of mild lactose intolerance but since I have been here I am consuming a lot of dairy and my digestions has never been better, this suggests that dairy I was consuming before was adulterated. The houses are also very spacious and most of them have an open lawn, a bethak area, private space for guests, a handpump, car parking area, gym area and an area for atleast 1 cow/buffalo. I took a bath once in a tubewell but I had never taken a bath in an open lawn under a tap and it was quite a cold experience. Shamli is basically haryana, it's on the Up-haryana border but they speak like an haryanavi, their culture, their ancestory everything is haryanavi. The muslim population here is more haryanvi than muslim, excluding the attire. I am a muslim myself but I find the muslims here quite different. For the first time in my life, I saw a women with Jilbab, and even further extension of niqab which was very weird for me but ig that's how things are. Don't pick on women here, there very outspoken and bold, I saw many men getting silenced and withdrawing themselves from a confrontation. I wanna know if anyone who lives in tier 2-3 india how different is tier 1 india for you people and what city people find amusing about their visit to different low tier towns and villages.2
