Is it just me or intelligence is a curse for your love life?

Being intelligent means you can almost see through a person, you can dive deep and realise why they are with you and that, more often than not, always comes down to a selfish motive. Every person I’ve been with or even tried talking to in hopes of a future, it has been painful even though things went well cause I always realised quite ahead of time what they really wanted. In some cases the person himself doesn’t realise his own selfish motives and thinks they really like you but I can see right through it. It’s always something; sex, money, show off to friends, time pass. Some selfish motive. Does true love even exist for intelligent people or they’re just smart enough to figure out the motives of people around and thus have to battle loneliness and can’t even live under the false misconception of true love.
