I punched a girl and now she has a fracture how do i apologies to her

Guys, I need some advice. Last night, I was at college until 7 PM working on decorations for next week's festival. I'm in charge of the setup, so I've been putting in long hours. As I was heading to the parking lot, which is surrounded by trees and pretty eerie (there's even a crematorium nearby), I had a terrifying encounter. Out of nowhere, a shadowy figure appeared and started approaching me rapidly. In the dim light and with my nerves already on edge, I panicked. Without thinking, my martial arts training kicked in (I've got a black belt in karate and I'm currently learning MMA), and I instinctively threw a defensive punch. To my horror, I realized it was actually a student in costume. Turns out, the media team was filming some promotional content for the festival, and they thought it would be cool to do a spooky theme. The girl I hit started crying, and suddenly I was surrounded by people with cameras. Now it's Sunday, and I'm sitting in the hospital with her. She's got a hairline fracture in her hand from my punch. The worst part? I've had a crush on her for months, and now I've literally broken her hand. I've apologized profusely, but I feel terrible.
