Hurt my self respect

My gf had exams,she asked for my help ,even though I was busy in my work gave my 6hrs time daily,even sleeping late,waking up early to adjust to my work schedule We live in different city ,distance is 70kms So now her exams are over ,I asked her to spend some time with me She directly on my face said "I cant sit and text you" Feeling very sad at the moment as I know how much effort I had put in her exams Its directly hurting my selfrespect even though I just said "ok" to what she said
