How to rich people manage with servants 24/7 in their house??

Just curious how do people with a losts of servants not maids but like legit servants with uniform doing stuff for you and all how do you manage and live with them?? How does the system work?? Aren't you worried of them stealing your stuff (since you are rich and have expensive stuff lying around your house) Just wanted to know. Thank You!!
