How to get over my twitter(X) addiction?

I tried many ways uninstalling, deactivating , setting time limit, by I ended up using in chrome web. I want to reduce my brain rot so shifted from Instagram to Twitter. It is addictive because you want to keep updated about what's happening in our world. And twitter has also some smart people who's tweet are thought provoking and informative for sometimes. And X now has no restriction to adult content, so when I scroll if feed is not interested I moved to adult content in X. I think they keep liberal policy on adult content to hook their users on their platform, which leads to lots of perverts ,incel groups ,actors workshipers, the dark side of twitter. Elon made it worse. So help me to get rid of twitter and give me other ways to keep updated about day to day life.
