How many of you suffer sexual abuse by own family members and how do you overcome that trauma?

Recently one of my female friends told me about how she was sexually abused by her own family member . I literally got traumatized by that. She is not only one . Many others friends also experienced sexual assault or get sexually abused by own relatives and family. How can someone overcome that trauma?
