How do you not lose hope and faith in God?

Hi everyone, I am going through a bit of a turmoil in my life rn. Nothing personal, just something on the professional front with a close family member. I try helping them but i see myself giving up and losing hope. What do you do when things seem bleak? Yesterday, i gave up on God and the fact that he listens to me. I cried for hours on end and couldn’t eat/sleep. I am hopeless and faithless and even took down his photo from the wall. What do i do?
