How common are extramarital affairs in India?

I used to think that it was not very common, but since the time I've started working, I have witnessed at least one extramarital affair at every workplace I've worked at. How has your experience been? How common are they where you work/ have worked? Edit: It'd help if you can write the number of extramarital affairs you have known so far.
