How about a flat 10% income tax ?

Why not a flat 10% income tax. Everyone pay 10% of their income per year as income tax whether it's 1L or 1 crore per year or whatever. Be it an individual or corporate. Also keep GST at a flat 10%. If everyone chips in 10% it would be more than enough to run this country. Less than 6% of the population actually pays income tax so it's better if everyone (100%) pays 10%. Also reduce all other taxes to just a flat 10%. The problem a large portion of the population will protest against this and burn the country down as they are currently paying no tax. But a flat 10% income tax that every one has to pay makes a lot of sense to me. What is your opinion?
