Do young people today still value advice from older generations?
I’ve been thinking about how different generations relate to each other these days. With how fast things are changing, social media, tech, and just life in general, it feels like the gap between the younger crowd and the older folks is getting wider. I get it. The world today is so different from what it was even a decade ago. But I also believe there’s a lot to learn from people who’ve been through life’s ups and downs. They’ve made mistakes, learned hard lessons, and seen how things play out in the long run. There’s some real wisdom there. That being said, I also see why a lot of young people would rather figure things out on their own or get advice from their peers. It’s a different world, and sometimes older people’s experiences don’t seem to fit with today’s challenges. I’m curious to hear what others think: *Do young people today actually want advice from older generations?* *Is it just about how that advice is given? Maybe it needs to be more relatable or less “preachy”?* *Or is it more about wanting to make their own mistakes and learn firsthand?* Would love to hear your thoughts on this!4
