Corruption: What’s your take on corruption in our country in the last 10 years?

We are in 2025 now, more than 10 years since Modi Government took charge. In 2014 people were really hopeful for a better India, and some things definitely changed for better. Many states are also governed by BJP and allies. What about corruption though? Is there any improvement on that front? What’s your take? Are we more corrupt than before? Has corruption reduced? Do share your opinions and if any, specific experiences as well. Examples include: paying police for passport verification/catching an offender, paying government officers to pass tenders, representatives abusing power to make money, etc. My take: Starting from petty bribes by police to high level transactions, everything has skyrocketed.
