Can we stop this ongoing Men vs Women war?
Disclaimer: I'm a girl. Downvote this answer as much as you want but please read my two cents on this before you leave. 1. **Equality through Mutual Appreciation:** We need to value each other's contribution to sustain this society. Girls, you can't deny the fact that men take up High Risk, physically demanding manual labor and that is the reason why all of us get to enjoy basic things like electricity. On the other hand, a woman's contribution is incomparable, with the power to bleed and to give life to a baby is miraculous. All of us have our strengths and weaknesses, real maturity is when you accept your weaknesses and not try to challenge the other party just to satisfy your ego. Women have time and again proved that they can excel in every field like Army, corporate and civil services but that doesn't mean we can interchange our roles and Men are of no use at all. 2. **Men vs Women - Ego and Competition:** We both need each other; Shiv and Parvati are incomplete without each other. Please start acknowledging efforts and be grateful for whatever you get instead of protecting your ego and challenging others. It is an utter waste of time if we try to prove that we don't need each other, when we actually do. Only giving respect is going to benefit us as a society. Men have recently but at least started to recognize the strength of women during childbirth and also how we're capable of proving ourselves in every field. But Men don't get the same appreciation when they do dangerous jobs. Instead, they're challenged that "We can do it too!" Can you not for once, stop proving yourself and just appreciate? 3. **Both genders endure, contribute, and face injustices** \- What we as a society can do is, stop playing the blame game and focus on becoming better humans ourselves! Focus on providing justice and help people who're suffering in any way around us. Posting hate towards each other will not help in any way. Be it men or women. 4. I feel deeply saddened for Atul but at the same time, what came across my mind is the fact that, now everyone is going to have a collective perspective about women being greedy, evil, and unhygienic. I feel worried for the women who actually are waiting for true justice, but people will call it a false case just because of the greed of 1 woman. 5. The fear that men hold now, towards marriages, women have been living with this kind of fear for years now, every minute, every second. Like you men can be trapped in a false case at any point of your life, we women fear that we will be limited to a birth giving housekeeper who are expected to just smile in return to taunts after marriage. We women fear marriages because we have seen countless sacrifices made by our mothers gone in vain. And we don't feel safe even at our own homes, imagine that. 6. So, let's stop scaring and start protecting each other instead. Let us become accountable. No hate to anyone. Only love:) The last time I posted this, it got deleted for God knows what reasons, but I'm posting this again hoping to see at least a handful of people who would agree with me:)4
